Imam Feisal and Daisy Khan talk to PBS about the opposition sparked last year over the Lower Manhattan community center project.

Daisy Khan says, “We were trying to be proactive and create a countermomentum against extremism so that we could give voice to moderate Muslims and amplify the voices of those of us who don’t have a platform. … Our intention is very peaceful, but it’s been completely misconstrued as being something that it’s not. That’s very hard.”
