Islamic and American Values are Similar

In an interview for the Detroit Free Press, Imam Feisal talks about the similarities between Islamic and American values, saying,

“Islamic values and American values are very much in sync,” Imam Feisal Rauf said in an interview with the Free Press. “There is a need for Muslims to develop an American Islam that makes our faith natural to this country. The principles of democracy are what Islam is all about.”
